Happy Weekend

The North Country decided to welcome in the weekend/ the month of April by dropping down into the 20's and snowing all night. Nonetheless, Friday was really fun. I got a pedicure with a new friend, and now have pretty light blue nails. I have never ventured away from pink or red, but I like it so far.

We watched One Day on Saturday. I loved the book, but was definitely disappointed by the movie. I have always been a huge fan of Anne Hathaway, but the style of the book didn't translate well to film.

We also may have watched a not-insignificant amount of the Kids Choice Awards. I happened to be flipping through when it was starting, and the green slime got me hooked. The fact that didn't know a good number of the award winners made me feel really old.

And just because I love him, here is a favorite picture of Lane and me, circa 2004-2005. Our school uniforms were the best.
