Every time I mention our new post, all our military friends have the same reaction; " I hope you like the snow". As it turns out I do like the snow, but this Georgia girl does not really have the right clothes for it.
So here are some of the things I have been looking at in preparation for the snowy north.
Duck Boots!
I want to look like an L.L Bean catalog by the time we move away. I would love to take the puppy too.
We are picking up the moving truck in an hour, packing all day and then I am off to Atlanta.

I got some hunters a few years ago and I LOVE them. Great investment.

New follower here, I just recently stumbled across your blog...I am originally from MA and have worked in the Fort Drum area (a bit further north) the last three summers, and believe me, you will need some good waterproof shoes! But don't worry it is gorgeous in the summer and fall you will love it.
